Description
A Day in the Life:
This role is�responsible for the management, supervision and training of general accounting staff.� Assures records are prepared and maintained in accordance with internal policies and within external compliance.� Collaborates with management to develop procedures and systems to ensure the most efficient processes are in place and that all the goals and objectives are met.�
We expect the starting salary to be around $105k; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
What You'll Do:
- Assuring General Ledger account reconciliations are complete according to policy.
- Ensuring Monthly journal entries are processed according to schedule.
- Assure accounting unit meets all SOX requirements.
- Assure monthly balancing / netting of inter-company accounts.
- Assure all weekly, monthly reporting requirements are met.
- Provide leadership, direction, discipline, training for employees.
- Project work as assigned���
- Analysis, service requests, database change requests.

What We're Looking For:
- [Minimum of eight years of accounting experience preferred.� Minimum of five years of supervisory experience preferred.�
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting and CPA Preferred
- Accounting/GAAP/SOX Compliance
- Inter-Company/Purchase Accruals/Other Liabilities
- Basic computer skills
- MS Excel/MS Word/Oracle
- Leadership�
- Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving
